- Read labels
- Choose unsaturated fats when possible
- Avoid trans fats
- Use Greek yogurt rather than mayonnaise
- Eat cold fish (salmon, tuna)
- Eat lean meats vs marbled
- Eat more plant based foods
- Roast, bake, grill vs frying
- Use olive, avocado oils
- Eat a handful of nuts rather than chips or crackers
- Eat cut up vegetables rather than baked goods
